I'd sure like that problem however...for once. My guess is, do to the timing and not waiting...Dolson probably had a new agreement accepted before doing this. I bet it gets announced this week The upside of that is that the program should be in a very good state when he does get hired away, making IU more attractive to good replacements. It would also show that it is possible to win at IU. Lebowski 1 Quote

Likely from the state of Wisconsin. He have enough pull to get them to leave the state and come to a cellar dweller of the conference? He's got a pedigree no doubt, just not sure he's a homerun hire for the 17 and 18 year old's he will be recruiting Quote

I'd be excited about him especially if it also meant a big investment in facilities. He got fired from his alma mater because he didn’t like recruiting. Not sure how that would ever work at a school like Indiana. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

DChoosier Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Tom Allen’s conference records the past 4 years: 6-1 0-9 2-7 1-8 Pat Fitzgerald’s conference record the past 4 seasons (in the WEST division) 1-8 6-1 1-8 1-8 Pat had a phenomenal run followed by an Allenesque multi-year ending mixed in with controversy and a 130,000,000 lawsuit. After going 9-0 and 1st alone in the West in 2017 - never got back to that.
