CCC is now following Daeh on X for what it is worth.  

Out of pure morbid curiosity, I poked around and discovered that Coach Deland's first stint in Bloomington was 2011 - '16 while Coach Kuntz was a GA b/w 2016- '18, net there may be a bit of organic familiarity b/w the family and new staff.

Given the dearth of talent in the defensive backfield - absolutely.  Four years of eligibility remaining, was a high 4* in his class, etc. etc.  

With that said, I'm not sure he matches what CCC is looking for in production from the portal (?) - but thats on CCC to decide.
