Turn the tv on with me kids. Didn’t realize we had a game. Turn it on. Losing to LOUISVILLE. Burn the program to the ground. We are never getting over the hump.

I take it back…. For now

And you are sooooo lucky. I haven’t forgotten your posts mocking Ville. Lol

They really did fit the narrative of “talented but sucky.”

When we went zone we didn’t do anything novel. And their guards thanked us by dribbling the air out of the ball 30 feet from the basket.

Thank you sucky Louisville, annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddd:

FOUR AND ONE BAYBEEEEE!!!!

BTW,

Kaleb Banks looked quick to the ball, didn’t get lost defensively, showed a lot more handle than last year, and generally was a great lift to the team.

Same goes for Walker as well. I was impressed by both guys on both ends of the floor. Walker could be a problem for other teams if he comes out with that intensity every night.

You SOBs are so schizophrenic.  Up and Down within a few pages.  My IU grad kid was moaning and groaning as well, with about 6 min left.  I said patience grasshopper.  Never give up boys.

And Kudos to Woodson for pulling a zone out of his rear.  Should keep the "fire Mike Woodson" thread at bay for a few more games.  :)

We really need to start playing more zone. We have the length

It might catch teams off guard if we use it at the right times, but I could also see it backfiring with our inability to guard the 3 point line or rebound.

We did improve on rebounds tonight as well. A lot to like from tonight’s performance but still a lot to improve as well. I would say by far and away this was the best defensive performance so far this season.
