And risk have Carey win the last two and get named HC without a real coaching search? We sure Dolson wouldn't do that like his mentor Glass? Undeniable this offense is looking far more competent with Carey leading them, which is similar to how Allen got the main job under Wilson. IU loves saving money with their football program and things are looking eerily similar to want what you're proposing Dave from Dayton 1 Quote

The quarterback that absolutely lit up IU was a backup at Ball State for three years and then when he was the starter there was mediocre at best. The Illini have averaged 21 points per game, scored 7 points against Nebraska, and the most points they scored all year was 30....against Toledo. DChoosier 1 Quote

If we want to be "successful" we need NFL talent on both sides of the ball. Illinois is just one team in the conference. We need to be competitive with all of them and that means we need NFL talent. Hoosierfan2017 Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Lmao. Tom lets the team down every week but never misses an opportunity to throw someone else under the bus. What a garbage “leader.” RaceToTheTop, LIHoosier, go iu bb and 2 others 4 1 Quote
