Trilly just posted a UConn gif, assuming Darius Adams is headed to Storrs… maybe it helps our chances with Mullins?

Yeah it can only help in the Mullins recruitment.   Not too many examples of 2 5 star kids at the same position that pick the same school.   Kids and parents can say all they want about it not mattering and they will pick where they feel is the best fit however numbers say they don’t end up picking the same school.   I’m sure Kentucky or Kansas has landed 2 at the same position.  UConn is hot right now so maybe they could pull it off but I would bet against in my opinion

Dad has flat out said that Braylon doesn't want to go somewhere to 'sit the bench'.  I take that as looking for somewhere that he is going to get a lot of touches and Adams signing would cut back on that.  They are also bringing in three guys this year -- a four star combo guard and two four star small forwards -- that are likely to be there in 2025 and limit where you move either Adams or Mullins to get them on the court together.

Adams and Mullins can be on the court together, but it does limit each of their looks and size of their role.

And Storrs already has '8 hour trip to Greenfield' working against them.

I think the Adams to Uconn helps us get Mullins but only slightly.  Uconn is able and will play both Adams and Mullins on the court together.

They picked up two four star small forwards in the class of 23, so it does make it a little harder to move one.  That is, there is going to be more of a log jam at the 2/3.
