For all those who thought Arizona was national championship team after they beat us....guess not. It just demonstrates the complete irrelevance of December games. RaceToTheTop Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Patrick McCaffery ended his career playing 166 games at Iowa. Didn't even come close to the 1,000 club......scored 740 points in his career and shot 35%. One McCaffery down, two to go. ALASKA HOOSIER, Leo, southsidehoosier and 1 other 4 Quote
AKHoosier Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Fell in love with watching Mountain West basketball at night the last few years, but unfortunately they just seem to underperform in the tournament. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Boise looks terrible. They can’t shoot Quote

Either way they were never going to win it all. Their defense was way too bad. I still think they’rea good team. Had we not had one of our typical 5min slumps to start the game we could’ve won it. The Johnettes with a last second bucket beat the 'Lady' Toilets in the first four. Also, the play-in game for IU's opponent is on ESPN2. Really weird seeing two random teams playing on our home court like this. Napleshoosier 1 Quote
Napleshoosier Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 I gotta say I do pull for B1G teams in the NCAA for sure against SEC teams. But that’s just me. But not PURDUE! ALASKA HOOSIER, woodenshoemanHoosierfan and str8baller 3 Quote

Beat most of the top teams they played and most of their losses were to mediocre teams. They were prime first-round upset material. Quote
go iu bb Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Boise State had a chance but Northwestern is pulling away now. How unfortunate. Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Mixed results for the Big right now. Two wins, two losses. Both losses to the SEC. SEC sitting at 4-0 right now. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
IU - Kaulie Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 If Maryland and Northwestern want to win one game that’s cool. Whatever. As long as Illinois, Iowa, and MSU lose their openers with Purdue not far behind I’m good. Almost there. Quote
Hovadipo Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Keep an eye on that PSU TAMU start time if you want an idea of how many coffees to drink tomorrow evening. Same window for us. The game before theirs isn’t at the under-4 yet and tip off is scheduled for 20 minutes from now. str8baller 1 Quote
Alford Bailey Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Northwestern has good guards and plays defense. Stuhoo 1 Quote

Yeah, while it's disappointing that Maryland and Northwestern won, I dislike Illinois and Iowa more than those teams (close call with Maryland though) so I guess having those 2 be the losers is the best scenario for the B1G being 2-2 now.
