Rutger after getting blitzed on Tuesday:

Let's make sure we win then we can start talking TJD. Rutger has owned us and even just winning one after what they've done to us over the last handful of years feels weak.

Who steps in for Mag?

It’s been mentioned previously, TJD and co have not beat Rutger. They have been CLOWNED by Rutger on the internet and court. I love beating Purdue, but they’re respectable enough to root for aside from playing IU. Rutger is public enemy #1 for me - I want them to lose by 20 every single game. It’s a discredit to the B1G to have them in the top of league

Fixed that for you :) Rutgers is a crap school, of crap people in a crap state. Jim Delany should be tarred and feathered for cramming them in the league.

Mawot Mag is a very active gadget forward on the lines of Jordan Geronimo.

Sad to read that his knee is messed up - that's a big loss for Rutgers.

Yes it is. He absolutely outplayed Race the 1st time. Was super active on their offensive board and was their primary double for Trayce.

Side note: how can you mistype “double” so it autocorrects to “day of blue”?

**** ... I mistyped the correct "Rutger" and mistakenly put "Rutgers."

Game Day!

Defense travels.  Rutgers will definitely be bringing theirs.

Got to get the ball down the court and in play quickly.  To me, that is a huge key against this opponent.  Pass the ball sharply.  They do force more than their share of turnovers.

Our lack of defensive rebounding was the #1 issue in Piscataway.

Not sure if we've been out-schemed once against this modern rugger team, just plain out-worked. Hopefully tonight is the night someone (preferably the All American) says enough is enough. We don't need the fake tough, nose to nose stuff, just stick a body on someone and rebound and we'll get a win. They can't lean on Fat Ron's heroics anymore.

Larry Bird FAT RON is not walking through that door, fans. Kevin McHale FAT RON is not walking through that door, and Robert Parish again, Fat Ron is not walking through that door. And if you expect them FAT RON to walk through that door, they’re HE'S going to be gray and old EVEN FATTER
