I already knew Tamar could shoot. In the second half Trey, JHS, Miller, and yes…Tamar too played exceptional perimeter defense.

If Tamar can defend and rebound like that he’s a major piece toward success.

Hmm, seems i was just talking about his improvements….

Bates is well on the way to being the impact player we thought. Still early in soph season, and he’s clearly better than last season. Has to keep developing for sure, but he’s headed in the right direction!

Wow! We’re just not that good. Idc what the next guy here says. We have got to get rid of 2 bigs clogging the paint in the lineup. It’s so obvious!

malik, bless his heart. His feet are just too heavy right now to play big minutes.

we’ve got a LONG way to go girls and boys. Happy holidays everyone!

Will be interesting to see how our lineups vary through the B1G season. 10-3 is a good start the year. This year I’m asking Santa for a speedy recovery for X. Let’s hold on at home and keep building - if X can comeback this year we may be set for some magic in March.

There will be ups and downs but at Coach Woodson’s 1.5 year mark the talent level on the bench is extremely improved and we have an identity. A lot will hinge on the transfer portal following this year - IU will have to land a few pieces. Future is bright for the Hoosiers

We are 10-3 at the break where I predicted 11-2 do we are not far off where a lot of us thought we would be. We have struggled lately and we need to take this break off to get rejuvenated. It seems we are a lite tire physically and mentally so the guys need to go home and get away from basketball for a few days.  They need to be ready to come back and work hard in all the practice time they have.

It can stick. So much of the defensive problems were positioning, over-helping, moment-to-moment attentiveness. He should start without X (won’t be too mad either way), which moves Galloway to his best role as bench buzzsaw.

If you want a big-picture reason for optimism: IU has shown extended stretches of success in a variety of ways. Due to injury, energy/effort (which can be improved upon!), and general early season acclimation, it often hasn’t all happened at once. Get healthy, and let’s see what they can do.

He's showing some maturity and just playing the game.

Besides Purdue who else has shown you that they are any better than us in the big ten. All the teams have struggled at some point in the non conference schedule.  Even Purdue hasn't played great their last few games.

I never said anything about great. Hello, I’d take playing “decent” right now

Well, I thought the same thing until he done his little gesture after hitting that tough fadeaway. Come on, you’re freaking playing kenesaw at at home dude.

I think we are top of the B1G good when at full strength. But without XJ and with TJD dealing with back issues, possibly JHS also, we are not that team. Take the best two players off of any team and they won't be the same either.

Good win for IU! Good test for KSU. Best of luck the rest of the way!

Good luck to your Owls.  I thought IU did a decent job containing Youngblood and Burden and Kennesaw had a couple of guys step up.  Defensively Kennesaw played hard and well in first half.  IU had enough talent in the second half and Kennesaw's margin of error was small.
