Someone mentioned that he had a wrap on his hand.  Might be that he would only play if absolutely necessary.

At this point in the season I'm okay with giving guys that are even a little banged up the night off.  You aren't coming into a game against Elon thinking you'll lose (I KNOCKED ON WOOD SO AS NOT TO JINX IT), so getting some young guys some playing time might be the best positive you can get.

#1 -- they showed him pregame and he was definitely smiling.

#2 -- Woodson didn't have an issue benching guys at Northwestern last year and letting it be known.
