So, uh... Tom Allen on the hot seat this year if we stink up the joint?  Or will the reputation of Indiana football keep him safe?

Probably safe this year regardless. But dont worry...we will suck again next year and get to start over again with a new coach that is put behind the 8 ball to star.

Unfortunately you are probably right.  That is the way of IU football.

Tom Allen may be safe with his contract. But no way he survives next year.

I could see transfers coming mid season from this team. Especially after the season.

This AD has spent too much money on facilities in the past decade to tolerate this. Add in NIL and the opportunity is there for this to be a competitive (middle of B10) program. Allowing back to back 2-3 win seasons is unacceptable at this point.

Isn't being a fan of IU football fun?!

Every few years, you want to run out the coach, even though you know the next guy ain't gonna be much better?  I've been trying to fight that part of me the past few years, but it was like that for the longest time.

Do we have to hear the story about the fake tooth every game?  I mean I get there is nothing really good to talk about on the field, but still....

Unless we go winless in conference again, he's probably safe. He really only has to win 5-7 games a year. That will become more realistic if we can actually avoid OSU or Michigan on occasion.

It's not what IU fans want to hear, but this is honestly a career-killing job that most coaches who don't have a passion for IU are going to stay away from.

It's unacceptable, but it's also the reality that someone's gotta be the creampuff of the conference.

I just wish it always wasn't us.
