Fans never see the benefit of the owners/teams/schools making more money besides upgrades in facilities. Prices will still go up until fans don't show up. There is never a trickle down effect.

I don’t know about that.  IU’s athletic dept doesn’t “make money,” they spend it all, and then some.

Sometimes they spend wisely, like Cig and staff, who are very expensive, and the fans benefit.  But, sometimes they don’t spend wisely as we know…

I see this as an additional source of revenue, and firmly believe that it will not cause ticket prices to drop or even stabilize. Mo' Money, Mo' Money.

Not going to drop, but at best maybe increase a little more slowly.

Regardless, I want IU getting as much sponsor money as possible.  We need it to spend on all sorts of stuff across the athletic dept.

I understand that. My point is the extra money is never used to lower costs for the fans to attend, if anything, it's the opposite.

They should make the game better by having less stoppages for timeouts and replays. But they won’t. The NBA didn’t. Straight money grab.

Dorn is the only one expected to play extended minutes and he’s close to be 100%. Drake is a depth piece. Aleska is not expected to see major minutes this season.
