To Creans credit he would get offensive players and some would choose to play D and we could be pretty good.  Guys can’t just choose be try harder and compensate for lack of offensive skills

No I don’t but that’s why your point about Fife is stupid.  He would run the ship differently.  We would not see multiple bench mobs a game with him.

Anunoby was a 3 star.....294th in his class.  I'd say he fared pretty well.  Got hurt as a sophomore, but contributed immediately as a freshman on a team that won the Big Ten title.

This was likely a bad idea hiring one of our own. This base will turn on anyone who can’t get the job done. IU guy or not.  How’s that going to look when we all eventually sour on Woody? 
 
 

I’ve already soured. Nothing personal. But this was my thought when he was hired. It’s our final grasp. Each hire and job search losses steam. Program drops a level.

Money might talk. Gotta find a gray area coach that can network, and join the modern era of sports.

Next year projects to be ugly. Tougher schedule and no TJD. Missing 2 tournaments in a row and what 6 or 7 straight. Nail into coffin.

Dude, our entire bench sucked. 3-14. So which suck do you want more of. 

Our collective level of talent is just not that good. 

And G is just abysmal. XJ and PS aren't consistent at all. The young guys iffy at best, but I would like to see more PT now that the playoffs are looking out of reach.

There’sa reason for that. Crean literally gave up defense for speeding into transition on offense. Transition will always be high percentage.  
 

Any team that forced IU into a half court game by controlling the pace (Bo Ryan) or playing zone (syracuse/nw) beat Creans teams.  
 

I wouldn’t want him to coach offense here even if they promised to name the arena after me.

If you haven't figured it out yet, every game is a program referendum with our fanbase. It's what we do. This program's culture sucks and this is one of the byproducts.

We got wrecked by the refs on so many ticky/tac calls when we played much better on plays than the visitors to our hall played, but the visitors got fake turnover calls and fake called trips to the line against us over and over repeatedly even so in our own filled house, so much so, why even watch this sh@t? It is not entertainment to get @ss-wrecked by outsiders who play somewhat less than our home team but still win after hours watching because often the team that played a lot better than its opponent does not win in the league.
