Jordyn Williams probably had some potential. Miles Marshall I don't care. He and Fryfogle we're both horrid and never looked like they cared to be on the field.

The WR room definitely needed a shakeup. They've got to find guys that can get separation and actually catch the ball.

A lot of it had to do with the system but yea, we need playmakers. We had zero. Fryfogle and Marshall were on the field for whatever reason and there laziness could only be rivaled but the RT Jones.

Yeah not sure why either were in the game Saturday during the 2nd half. Let some of the younger guys play.

Attachment issues, probably?

It feels like Allen doesn't like substitutions, which was why Gremel stayed as the starter all day and he only went with Tuttle (until Tuttle got hurt) after Penix got injured.  I'm not a psychological expert, but it just feels like he purposefully keeps guys in for either morale or mental reasons, regardless of their quality.

Jordyn Williams was a DB by the end of the season. Not really a big loss. Marshall is a jump ball WR that played with a bunch of guys that can't throw them this year. A change of scenery will do him well.

He was also lazy as can be and hardly ever tried to go after a ball.

We are in the point of the cycle where players are entering the portal but not exiting.  But I'm not very optimistic about us getting impact guys in.  I am hoping that DJ Matthews stays as he was showing some real potential before he got hurt -- and he's the top of receiver we are going to need to help out the QB situation.  We are going to need good waterbug type of receivers, guys who are small and quick that won't necessarily make big plays down the field but rather have the ability to take a short pass and break it.

I couldn't believe at the end of the year that announcers were still talking about Fryfogle's 'future NFL career'.  He's certainly not getting drafted by anyone that has tape on his 2021 season.

Marshall I actually would have like to kept around.

LB Bradley Jennings in for a visit this weekend ...

Started at Miami (Florida) two seasons ago, was a reserve this year -- 14 tackles in 8 games.

Meh -- doesn't excite me all that much, but what do I know??? We may or may not lose Cam Jones and McFadden, so it could be a position of need.

I'm excited for any player that would put a tweet together like that to come.  We need players that buy in.

Last season, Northwestern rebounded from a crappy year by using our 32-year-old QB.

Maybe we could do the same next year with Nebraska's 32-year-old QB ...

Was about to post this.  While he's not great, he is better than anyone we have.

Sure I’d take him. He probably wants to go where he can win some games though.
