Game Thread: vs. Eastern Michigan 11/9 - 6 pm - BTN

Need to consider that every single one of our players have spent their entire career at IU, in high school, or at a place that hasn't produced good basketball (Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Tenn State).  Probably shouldn't have expected all those bad habits/shot mechanics were going to go away quickly.

I will die on this hill…Clif Marshall needs to go! He’s the common denominator and our shooting will never be there as long as he’s training these guys like they’re in the NFL.

Yeah, our coach will have growing pains as well.  Race really should have been pulled after his third foul.  Picked up #4 pretty quick.

We are fine. 
 

We might be fine lol. Then again we may be what we saw. We hit more of those threes and keep defense intensity we will be fine. If this is what we are on the regular we are not fine. We will struggle mightily and lose alot of games

He’s not the reason we shoot for crap

Rob kinda disappeared in the second half, too. Well -- they all did. 

But he was so sharp in the first 20 minutes.

Yessir.

And as well as he played, when Race picked up his third he should have calmed the **** down and not picked up that fourth.

We stand
We don’t move the ball
We lack energy
We turn it over
We don’t score with ease
We defend in spurts
We don’t dominate the boards

We defended decently for the majority of the game and then ONE of their players got hot and almost beat us. ONE. We can’t rely on being terrible on offense and decent on defense for most of the game. Horrible recipe for the season

thought we "got comfortable" when up by 20

Said we made plays down the stretch (" made our FTs" ???)

Thought we were quick shooting the ball

Gives the team a "C" for the game
