I agree. It has to be Mullins and another 5* or it is just another class like we have seen for the last several years.  reibe seems to be the best chance at that.

Purely a gut feeling but I think Reibe looks at TJD, Ware and sees Ballo's gone and the starting spot is his and he can experience the same development towards an NBA career.

Reibe would start instantly.  No doubt about it.  It seems that IU has a really good chance with him.  Let’s hope it translates.

IU will almost assuredly pursue a portal big regardless of what Reibe decides to do.

Ballo graduates, Hatton graduates, Reneau would most likely to go to the NBA should he be drafted.  There will be a need for bigs in 25.

I don't live that far from South Bend.....people couldn't tell you who is on the team or when they are playing.  It's basically what IU is in football (and hopefully was, not is, if Cig contains to pan out).  It is what it is.  That said, that can be attractive to a recruit because they immediately will come in and a focal point for the team.  And while the ACC wasn't good last year, it's a power conference so he is still going to go against solid competition.

Can't ever be upset at a kid making a decision about where they are going to play even if they decide against IU.  Unless they go to Purdue that is, because that's just stupid.

I think Reneau comes back for his senior season.  Him and Reibe would start.

So it’s not Haralson.  He was our primary target.  Bad look? Eh, maybe.  Oh well.  That 1.5M allotment is going to spend.  We’ll get dudes.

They’ll get a Ballo/Ware impact transfer from the portal. Not fair to put that burden on Reibe, who isn’t close to a one and done. Plenty skilled but needs two years to physically mature.

That’d be ideal.  Reneau and Sisley at PF along with Reibe and transfer portal recruit at C.  That sounds good to me.
