I am down to squash the beef. This search just has us all on edge and I’ve been especially cranky the past few days haha. Ready for it to be over. We all want what’s best for IU… sounds like we will find out soon enough. Looking forward to supporting the next coach.

He’s a decent coach and I’d be willing to give him a shot. Assuming that this flight means anything; in all likelihood it does not.

My 1st guess would be that CC seems to be content with what he's doing at a nice safe job like Northwestern. You put him at IU and the heat gets turned up 100x. Doubtful he's looking for that

Let me guess. Dolson had stevens locked up and has just been sitting on his hands waiting for the stevens announcement. Stevens let him know yesterday the deal is off because his daughter doesn't want to move. Now we are scrambling! Is this close?

He was talking about Chris Collins at NW when using that language, not Brad Brownell.

He did mention that Brownell was considered widely as a solid up and comer when he was at Wright State before moving to Clemson and implied that "if Tom Crean" (Sorry @realTomCrean) didn't work out back then, Brownell would've been someone (was?) looked at hard...

But didn't he feel he was snubbed to be Coach K's heir apparent and one of the reasons he left Duke?   Heat at Duke following K couldn't be that much different than heat at IU following Woodson.

Let’s be honest, if the only hangup to this was his daughter not wanting to move and he wanted the job it’s pretty easy. He forces her hand which is called parenting or he says fine, we’ll make it work. It’s short term, she’s going to be a senior so they do a long term fix for 8-10 months. Done.
