Brad put out no such statement.  Goodman did based on “sources” one of which might be Brad.  With today’s technology, Brad could easily put out a statement direct from him.  He did not.

Show the text.   Stevens could easily do a number of things without a press conference.  Grab a reporter in the hall and go on record in s recorded interview stating that he is not interested in the IU job.  Issue a written statement and send it to media for publication.   Or tweet something himself.  Etc.  He did none of this.

All everyone! We have already hired a coach not named brad stevens according to all the trolls who shockingly came out of the woodwork today.


They all are saying they were right that he was not coming here. Which makes perfect sense since IU has already announced who the new coach is next year

Like I said, if you thought Brad Stevens (considering his situation) was going to be the next coach…that’s a you problem not a me problem. Stop listening to Chris.
