I'll never understand why people get so fixated on not discussing one particular name. I think this happens when someone with a different view of who they want doesn't align with what they want then the shut it down, attack the person or proposed coach and even lash out in some ways. The fact is we as a fan base should be able to have a discussion on potential names and not attack each other but I don't see that happening in today's world of message boards or anything else. As I have grown older, I have learned to listen and value other thoughts and opinions. It doesn't mean I agree with them but at least hear them out and not attack them. Work life has taught me to not shut down others as it may keep them from sharing in the future and you may lose out on some good ideas or information. Just my 2 cents.
