So who the hell knows. 

I agree. I'm not holding out hope for Brad but just look at what Mick Cronin said last night about the IU opening. He wouldn't even entertain out of respect for Woody. Any person worthwhile would do the same.

I don't think we hear anything until the season is over or the start of the tournament at the earliest.

Just to be clear this isn’t a source. My son told me this at the game. Not sure where this student journalist got his info. But I know he knows the Goodman girl. I told my son tell that kid that being first isn’t important if you’re wrong.

This message board is a blast during coaching searches. Rumors are fun. I love "insiders" whether they are wrong or right. It's just fun to talk basketball with fellow Hoosier fans who have been subjected to the same misery as myself. 

But some of you guys are so bipolar and need to chill. The mood goes up and down by the minute. 

"Yes, we are getting Brad Stevens."

"Brad Stevens was never going to happen!" 

*5 minutes later*

"It was all a smoke screen. Brad Stevens is signing his contract Monday!"

*30 seconds later*

"Actually it's Brad Brownell who is signing the contract!! He is Dolsons "guy".  Our program is doomed. Panic!"

I, for one, am having trouble keeping up with all the smokescreens. 
 

In all seriousness, it could still be possible just because Steven’s going to IU would be massive news across the NBA not just CBB. If there ever was news to keep quiet, it would be that. Not saying I think it’s likely, but possible.
