Stevens/May/Drew those are the three the tea leaves are swaying per their hot board. Beard is up there but clearly up there for talking points, they do not think he has a shot. I have a friend who was in Drew wedding party (30 years ago), I will reach out to soon see if he has any interest in the IU job. Last time with Kentucky his wife said absolutely not. They are big into Church etc. and Kentucky did not offer that type of environment that Baylor did and they did not want to move their children... I do not see how Indiana is any different. Nice insight there

May has already told Michigan that he isn't interested in contract talk until season end, could that change? sure, but right now nothing is in the works for may contract wise. With that being said, brad is still the guy. He is the guy until he's not by his doing. Happy search season everyone! Thanks for the info. If I’m tracking, Brad is plan A, May is plan B or beyond. May has all the leverage in the world to negotiate with Michigan right now but he will not do that because he wants to roll the dice in the chance that interest and focus from IU falls to him? is that realistic? I think so. Dusty waiting to extend puts pressure on Michigan to pony up, makes them sweat and probably ends with dusty getting more money. If Scott really thought it would get to dusty, he wouldn't have announced Woodson's retirement until end of season to prevent Michigan from pushing for an extension, IMO thebigweave, HinnyHoosier, JerryYeagley23 and 5 others 8

JimmerNoe Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I know that Rabjohns is typically more vague and guarded, partially because he has to be but also because it pays to keep people coming back for more, but what has his vibe been about Stevens this time? question for the peegsters I guess but just wondering if he is hearing the same things our insiders are, or if he is giving them and weight. If it does go beyond Brad, this will be interesting. I also wonder about leaving a job after one season. I don’t know Dusty personally at all, but it doesn’t seem like something he would do on the surface. Chris007, ALASKA HOOSIER and GP711 3
IUHAHN81 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Surely if we were to the point where we were gonna truly get Brad, SOMEONE would have to leak that! That's news a person couldn't keep to themselves! I know I couldn't! Haha. ALASKA HOOSIER, Chris007 and HoosierPapi4 2 1

Popular Post WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 10 Popular Post Posted February 10 Guys. I’m 44 and I’ve been a diehard fan since I was about 16. My oldest boy is 18 and I force him to root for the Hoosiers. I’m starting to count the years, lol. We need to nail this hire. I don’t even need #6. Just want to be in the ballpark. I just always question Rabby’s motives lol I’m sure he is well aware that Brad being at the top of the board creates the most frenzy and traffic. Hopefully it just means that is high mutual interest and that’s why he’s number 1! GP711 1
