Obviously I like Flory a lot but he’s not on the level our previous 3 guys were. We’ve had some great 5’s. Flory maybe, could end up being the 4th in time. But it would be a relative step down. He offers more from a defensive standpoint than our last 2. steubenhoosier 1 Quote

Totally different usage than what we've been running. lillurk 1 Quote

IMO, it’s a disservice to compare freshman Flory to upperclassman TJD. TJD was third team All American as a sophomore. I'll take some more "raw" dudes like that! lillurk, cybergates and RaceToTheTop 3 Quote

After that I quit following him. I'd completely forgotten he was at BYU until this weekend. While it would be hilarious in regards to Purdue, they aren't worth having those kinds of problems on the team. In fact, yeah guy, maybe reconsider Purdue. Uspshoosier and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 Don’t think he’s been mentioned, but Magoon Gwath , 7’ , San Diego st freshman is in. 8.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. Great touch for a seven footer, 17 of 45 from three. Brill 1 Quote

He got hurt/missed some games at the end of the year and SDSU was never the same. He seems to be linked to Michigan which would be unfortunate but he’s already a very good player who hasn’t even come close to hitting his ceiling. Quote

If a coach wants a player I want them to have the player, no exceptions, and then judge the results. If DeVries wants to bring the kid in, and that’s tough to see since it would fly pretty hard in the face of everything he’s said so far, ok then. I have not seen where DeVries is interested... but it's his choice to get the kids that the wants. Quote
