I hope we're done with this 5 or even 6 years of eligibility baloney. "Five years to play four" is enough. I think the tsunami of portal entries is about to hit. Quote

NBA sure but kinda sucks for college basketball that Purdue was Smith's first and only power conference offer and he'd leave them as a senior after all the development there. Idk maybe unpopular opinion Nah, I'm here for him leaving solely for the tears of despair that will flow from their fans. Home Jersey and Pagoda 2 Quote
Juwan Moye Posted March 24 Posted March 24 With the rev share changes isn’t the expectation that players are making even more money moving forward? I thought someone reported Cupps was getting offered $600k as an example. If that were true then yeah, I could see Smith getting offered $5m. Quote

LOL IU isn't quite the Dodgers/Yankees NIL budget team, but at least we are probably the Red Sox/Braves NIL budget team. Purdue is quite as bad an Oakland NIL budget team, but they are probably Pittsburgh or Kansas City. And that's a problem for them. They may be able to retain Simth and Kaufman-Renn, but in doing so they are going to have very little left for Heide, Colvin, Cox, and Harris. Hoosier DaDa and cybergates 2 Quote
