Josiah Jordan-James returned to Tennessee.  Has started 87 games for Tennessee in the last four years.  Plays the 2 and 3 spot.  Have to think those minutes for Ledlum and Knecht both decrease.

That would leave them over-signed by 1. Interesting situation to follow.

Would that take them down to 6 scholarship players?

No. They have seven confirmed; five freshmen,  and seldom-used sophomores Adou, and Onyeso.

Three have decisions to make by midnight; Thsiebwe, Livingston, and Reeves.

Of course, there's not guarantee that he wouldn't get drafted prior to a team offering that guarantee......

He is in Oklahoma City today visiting the Thunder.  Thunder own the 12, 37, and 50th picks.  Obviously Edey isn't going with the 12th pick and he's probably a better value pick at 50 than 37.

Doubt we’d push Mbako to a stretch 4 role if our pitch was centered around him being a wing. There will probably be 25 min a game for a reliable scorer off the bench. Kind of what we envisioned Bates doing last year.

Mark Cuban should say yeah we will offer you that…just to help IU!

I haven't seen him play but looking at his numbers there are a couple of things that confuse me:

1) Why he announced for the NBA draft in the first place

2) Why IU is a possibility for him at this point. He doesn't fill a need.

He absolutely fills a need for us.

He’s a ball handling two guard that facilitates and passes well, and is a perimeter shooter.

This may be our guy.

He's a guard? 247 and sports reference have him listed as a forward which is why I was confused.

Not gonna lie, I don’t care about his stats, love that kid. He could be a legit 6’8” PG if you wanted to use him that way. He’s got such great vision. He’s super creative in pick and roll. Exceptional instincts playing the passing lanes. 2 issues: 1) His shot is a little funky and he’s steaky from 3. Can make 5 straight then miss 10. 2) He’s built like a stick figure and adding 20-30 lbs doesn’t look at all likely.

Saves typing on Sharavjamts. I’d take him without a thought.
