That’s all that is left?  Slim Pickens!  I haven’t heard us going after anyone of these players but if I had a wishlist on who is left, Cleveland or Tyson either one would be OK and Jones would be OK at SF.  Wow, IU staff doesn’t have a lot to choose from.

Jaylon Tyson I believe is visiting Auburn and I think Kansas is also pursuing.  Cleveland visited/is visiting North Carolina, although the Corman Ryan commitment might make him less likely to commit to UNC.

Couple of others:

Arterio Morris, 6'3" Fr, Texas.  Listed as a point guard but could play alongside X just like JHS did.  Listed at #16 in the portal.

QUINCY MOTHER****ING GUERRIER.  Hasn't been ranked by 247 yet, just came out a couple of days ago.  They tend to be behind.

Tre White, 6'7" wing, USC.  Fr.  Don't know if he has the 247 rankings yet but is #27 on On3.

Noah Reynolds reopened, decommited from Wyoming.  6'4".

Simas Lukosius from Butler.  Not an great athlete but can shoot.  Certainly a more willing shooter than Kopp.  11.6 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.9 apg last year and shot 38% from three.

Honestly, at this point, why not Simas Lukosius?  I know we all want elite athletes but we most definitely lack shooters.  He has a visit set up currently with Cincinnati....have to think we have more to offer than they do.

Lol. I had a great night with my Boys. Soccer dub and baseball dub both on homefields. Awesome evening.

As far as the transfer portal, our staffs recruiting, and the general message board vibe right now. I’ll just say——devolved. This staffs roster management is really something. They can’t get their foot in the door on worthy recruits right now with the world to offer. It’s crazy town. You’d think we have looming sanctions hanging over us like the plague based on the cold shoulders we get in recruiting.

Anyway, each day I HOPE we back channel some star player somewhere that wants all we can offer. Until then I’ll enjoy the crickets of our recruiting efforts. BUT I prefer crickets over Grant Gelon, Tim Priller, and the like, so maybe silence and 15th fiddle will work out for us.

I think we at least need 1 wing player but 1 wing and 1 SF would be idea.  We need to land somebody but not just anybody, someone to feel a need and can shoot the 3.
