Arizona State forward Marcus Adams Jr. plans to enter the @TransferPortal, he tells @On3. 

The 6-8 junior is a former 4 recruit.       

Purely FWIW he was offered by us in Feb. '23.   Might be damaged goods as he didn't play after Jan. 3, dealing with some kind of leg injury.

Hardest of hard passes. ASU was his 3rd school in 3 years. Technically his 4th because he was a KU signee but never played there. Also played at at least 2 and maybe 3 high schools.

Remains to be seen if DDV's interest is still there. Per The Daily Hoosier Garland played for Darian DeVries at Drake in 2023-24.

San Jose State guard Colby Garland is entering the transfer portal, he tells @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot-1 guard out of Magnolia, Arkansas was named Third Team All-Mountain West this season. Has also spent time at Longwood and Drake. He averaged 20.3PPG, 4.6APG, 3.3RPG and 1.1SPG this season.

Always wondered why Duke recruited Harris. He played at Paul VI with Jordan Smith and he was a good player but he didn’t project like their usual kind of kid at all. He was really physically mature and he had a very developed game but if he couldn’t just straight overpower a kid he needed help to get looks. Never looked like Scheyer’s kind of kid.

I vaguely recall us talking about him last year. Curious that DDV has already had 2 shots to bring him along and there’s no indication that he really tried. But his shear numbers from last year are pretty compelling.

It would be really weird for DDV to play anyone, even off the bench, that he knew was throwing games.

 

 With that said, Conerway is horrible and I can see why someone watching him play basketball would think he was purposely trying to be bad.

For sure. He was bad enough and making weird enough plays late in the year that the joke is easy to make, but actually accusing him (and DDV) of that is insane.

He definitely was a run-buster. We’d have a nice lead and momentum, then he’d come in, make a few silly turnovers, and the lead would get cut in half. We had to give Enright a break, but Conerway really hurt us with poor decision making.
