Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Kansas State center Baye Fall has entered the transfer portal, source told me and @JamieShaw5. The 6-11 sophomore is a former McDonalds’ All-American. Began his career at Arkansas. Demo 1 Quote

He was there on the strength of a couple of good camps and that he was an elite run/jump athlete who could really change direction. But he straight up hated contact and he was a glacially slow mental processor. When IU showed some interest in Baye Ndongo I found a couple of games they played against each other and there was simply no question who the better player was. Ndongo flat handled him. cybergates and lillurk 1 1 Quote

Front court of Reed and Stewart. Karaban comes back, Stewart almost certainly starts at the 3. Mullins will probably get starter or sixth man minutes IMO. lillurk 1 Quote

Home Jersey Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Just now, Demo said: Is Mullins generally more highly regarded by the UConn folks than Adams? Definitely, they view Mullins as the best player in their recruiting class and it's not particularly close. Their fans are wondering if they will target a back up big guy next or rely on Reibe to sub in. For the most part, I'd say they think Adams is least likely to get run of their freshmen. A lot of them think Jacob Furphy is going to get more minutes in the backcourt than him. Others think Furphy is more of a project and will play less than Adams or more on the wing. They mostly project Adams at around 5-10 minutes a game right now. I think they're up to 9 or 10 on the roster now without Karaban coming back. He should decide soon I'd think. Demo 1 Quote

This is what Evan Miya is putting at the 'valuation' of the players added via the portal, not what has actually been paid. Iowa pretty much has had a full rebuild with a lot of spots being filled by transfers from Drake. FWIW, Bennett Stirtz's valuation is off the charts (on On3, he has a valuation North of $2 million). But there is no way that Iowa paid that much......rumor was their offer to Dix was only $1 million and Iowa doesn't have big NIL. Personally, I also happen to think that Stirtz is going to show some struggles this upcoming season when he faces Big Ten competition game after game. lillurk and go iu bb 2 Quote
