I wish all our departing players, whether via portal or graduation, all the best in basketball or life. Thank you for representing Hoosier nation in a respectful light during your time here.

To our returning and future players, we wish you much success in pursuing your degree at our top flight university and playing basketball in front of the best fans in the country.

I wish our online fanbase would take this approach during these times.  Nothing to be gained by voicing displeasures or whatever you want to call it on Twitter.

Granted, every fanbase is dealing with these sorts of things.  Saw St Johns's recently having issues.  Iowa this off-season so not even always the usual suspects.

^^It's Cream and Crimson, not red and white.^^

Their representatives wrote these for them, or at least greatly assisted. With that having been said?

Mack Mgbako thanked/paid tribute to:

  • Teammates
  • Coach Woodson
  • Coaching staff

Malik Reneau thanked/paid tribute to:

  • Teammates
  • Coach Woodson
  • Coaching staff
  • Manager, ushers, and and Assembly Hall staff
  • The passionate IU fans

One of them concluded by stating he would always be a Hoosier at heart and will carry the Hoosier spirit wherever he goes.

I can't believe neither one of them thank the boosters and their deep pockets.

I like Swain a lot, but he’s a bit of a weird player. Probably best as sort of a primary facilitator in the halfcourt. Like his vision and he’s a very good passer. Also can defend 1-4. But. man, that stroke is never gonna play. The way the ball comes off the outside of his hand with side spin, yeesh.

Swain is a guy on NBA radars because he has a lot of upside for the reasons you mention. But needs lot more consistency with the ball and to fix his shot.

whoever wrote that did an amazing job.  Very well written statement.

These things are so canned, one right after the other. They're so fake it almost makes me mad. If you can't write a few sentences of your own, you weren't that appreciative.

Maybe Malik really was, but proceeded to demonstrate may not have actually known where he went to school lol

So B. Tucker hasn't entered the portal?  If not, I'm pretty surprised - I thought he'd be one of the first.

I heard Todd Leary say after DDV was announced that he thought B Tucker would be better in the new system as opposed to Woodson's system.  I would like to see him get pushed to see how well he can do.

BTucker seems like an intelligent, personable kid that will thrive if put in a proper system and coached up.

After Luke Goode, he's who I would most want to return.

Gotta get in the gym and work on 3 and getting to the rim.  Midrange unless incredibly efficient is losing basketball.  I agree with everything you said.  I also highly doubt he stays.

Wouldn't think he'll stay either.

If he does, I expect our new staff to stress really hard work and quantity time with shooting, and that his shot selection would be significantly re-invented under a CDD system.
