Southside Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 If he is going to leave, hope he ends up at ND, Butler, or Ball State. At least with those teams, I could continue to cheer a bit for him. Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app I saw some mention somewhere (can't remember exactly where) that indicated he might narrow his choices -- whatever they are -- and have some finalists this past week. But I haven't seen anything else backing that up, or advancing that. I don't believe he's tweeted anything since his farewell to the pinstripe pants and the Kelly School of Business. Demo Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Apparently going to Arkansas, per Brian Snow. Musselman is a flat out closer with transfers. HoosierAloha, WayneFleekHoosier, mamasa and 2 others 4 1 Quote

mdn82 Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 That’s should be a good change of pace and conference officiating will play better to his game imo.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners HoosierAloha 1 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Didn't think he'd head to the $EC but that conference suits him well. Wish nothing but the best for him in basketball and life. Interesting choice of pics... MemphisHoosier, mdn82 and jk34 3 Quote
Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Good choice in Arkansas. They could be decent and NCAA tourney bound. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Will certainly follow his season this year. Good luck young fella. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Loaded Chicken Sandwich 1 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Interesting choice for sure. Glad it’s not in conference. Quote
Honkyman Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Good move for Justin. Musselman is a good coach--probably better than Archie--and his style of play for his teams is better suited to Justin's strengths. Good luck to him. I'm glad we're not scheduled to play Arkansas again. Quote

He’s a high energy coach similar to Crean, wouldn’t say he’s a better coach than Archie at this point. Quote
Honkyman Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Musselman had a decent first year with Arkansas last season (20-12) with not much talent left by his predecessor (better than Archie's first year at IU). He turned Nevada into a winning program before moving to Arkansas. More important for Justin Smith is Musselman's style of play which as I say is a better fit for Justin. We'll see. I'm rooting for a good year for both IU and Justin. Quote
