Bobman1 Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Sit a year and then be ready on a roster after TJD and Brunk are gone? Freshman Duncombe may not be ready? I would think that's a perfect fit.Would definitely be on board but it doesn’t seem like the program puts too much effort in with transfers. Outside of Brunk who’s from the Indianapolis area, haven’t seen a whole lot in that area. Not gonna get my hopes up :(Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Here’s a stat that keeps me up at night: before his injury his sophomore year, De’ron Davis averaged 1.5 blocks while playing less than 19 minutes per game. He was going to be really, really good until he got derailed. Hardwood83 1 Quote

I actually thought before he got hurt -- when he could run and move and jump freely -- that he showed some pretty nice moves around the bucket, too. Hardwood83 and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

Yes, it’s one of the more sad careers I can remember. Great guy. Old fashioned game. I think even with limited athleticism he could have been really good. Glad he stayed a good guy and a Hoosier through it all. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app MoyeNeeded 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hate to turn this into something it’s not, but I always think when people try and compare Holtmann and Archie, how different are the past 3 years if De’Ron is healthy and as good as or close to Kaleb Wesson? Both were inherited players (Wesson was an inherited recruit), but Wesson clearly has been the main cog for OSU the last 2+ years. woodenshoemanHoosierfan and GloryDays 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted July 6, 2020 Author Posted July 6, 2020 Interesting Q and A from Alex Bozich with Lance Stemler. HinnyHoosier Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Seeing some disturbing stuff that Jerome may be in a hospital for unknown reason. Saw this as well. I hoping with as hush-hush as his previous health issue was, this may be more routine considering he’s putting it out on social media. Sam Story is tweeting something about dental/ENT experiences related to his surgery. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app mamasa and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote

Stuhoo Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Thank goodness it's dental stuff ... would hate for Jerome Hunter to have a Mo Creek-like experience at IU. So much good can come out of that young man. jk34 and Crimson and Cream 2 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Wisdom teeth obviously rather routine if that’s all it is. He’ll be just fine in no time. Quote
Aaron Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Its not a big deal, but a very impulsive and dumb decision by Hunter to post an Instagram like that with his leg condition and Covid looming. I am guessing Archie will chew out team to be more careful with their social media posts as this was not well thought out by Hunter. Quote
