Our crowd better watch it. These refs are similar to the OSU game, in that they seem to have a chip on their shoulders and want to prove they aren't being homers. I could just see our crowd getting a T late in the game on a critical possession after MSU gets away with another travel and Izzo is still whining about a no-call 10 possessions earlier.

We survived our normal scoring drought but never relinquished the lead, so we've got that going for us.  I'll be interested to see how the second half is officiated (lot of physical play allowed in the first). 

I'd bet Race plays in the second half (and certainly hope so).

Why in gods name does Archie keep letting Green give him headaches. 

Oh he is the most animated I have seen. From where I sit after the first time he sat him he screamed, “sit on the ******* bench” while making an animated gesture. After this last time he didn’t scream at him but was talking to him.

Nothing worse than *that guy* in the student section. We’ve all seen him. No obvious interest in basketball, pretty hammered, wearing an NBA jersey and Timberlands, go-to move is the double birds to basically anything he hears people booing about, daddy issues, you know...that guy.

Nothing worse than *that guy* in the student section. We’ve all seen him. No obvious interest in basketball, pretty hammered, wearing an NBA jersey and Timberlands, go-to move is the double birds to basically anything he hears people booing about, daddy issues, you know...that guy. 

Did you guys hear them threaten the crowd with a technical over the f*** you Tillman chants? Would be surprised if that wasn’t bleeped out.

MSU is sure to make some adjustments and start making a few threes. Question is whether we respond without resorting to just stalling the offense and jacking up threes.

When I feel like watching a senior play like a freshman and benefit the other team as much as us, I'll think about putting Green in.  Until then his minutes can start going to Franklin.

We don’t know each other, but if you’ve played sports at a high level, you can relate to the fact that regardless of talent level, there are certain guys who have the moxy and the skill to make big plays when other guys just as talented just don’t. I’m not saying I want D.G. to be the focus of our offense or even to play 30 mins a game. What I am saying, is that this type of game, there will come a time, when we are gonna need a big shot. And it’s probably gonna be a shot where you say “no, no, no....yes!” and in my opinion Green has that attitude and confidence to take that shot. And I’d rather have a guy taking it that has just enough arrogance to believe he’s gonna make it, than a guy like Franklin, who despite the fact he’s gonna be great for us in the long run, is in the back of his mind hoping it goes in. IMHO.
