Best defense Brunk has played. Finally closed distance when Reuvers faced up.

Archie I think was successful at a lower level because teams had shorter benches with less versatile players. 
 

His system doesn’t work with opposing players that can vary their style and attack you in different ways.

What changes?

What is there really to be positive about? Good results last year? Good recruiting? An 8-0 start against the 95% worst schedule in the country?

One game at a time but we are absolutely failing this challenge. Good teams don’t play like this.

Turned it off after Archie kept Devonte on the bench to start the second half only to have Armaan miss a wide open 3.

1) We go from one media timeout to another without scoring.

2) We hear a comment from the broadcaster about Wisconsin and how "this is the best they've looked all year."

3) Some walk-on Amish kid from a little house in the big woods comes out of nowhere and goes 5/6 from deep, we hear about how it's the "coming out party" for the fine young man, and then he's never heard from again.

4) One of our bigs will be mugged/hilariously murdered on a rebound with no whistle, probably at a crucial point late in the game.

5) We play well for a stretch, then start getting hit with those annoying "nickel-dimer" fouls that get Wisconsin back in it. 

 

Any combination of these will likely happen at some point today.

4 and 5) N/A due to our ineptitude preventing either scenario from occurring.

No shame to losing on the road to a good team.....but Wisconsin isn't a good team. Not even average.

Embarrassing.  Guess I'm watching football the rest of the night because I'm done subjecting myself to this stuff.
