He moved them in right after Boise State lost.  He is very predictable

And then moved IU ahead of Xavier now.  Xavier is his last team in.    Lunardi has now moved IU from 3rd team out to second to last team in without playing a game.

6 teams for 3 spots: SDSU, Indiana, Texas, UNC, Xavier, Boise St.

If VCU loses, they get added to the bubble and it's 7 teams for 3 spots. If Memphis loses, one spot is taken and it's only two spots available.

28 of the 33 brackets updated this morning on Bracket Matrix have Indiana IN the field.

Sounds like most think we’re in. I thought for sure UNC was beating a Flag-less Duke and leapfrogging us. Thank goodness that kid committed the worlds worst lane violation.

I didn’t go through this and look for errors so there may be some throughout the projected field.   BYU being in the field could screw up some seeding because they can’t play in the Friday, Sunday slot so they might drop a team a seed line or gain a seed line depending on some things

Happy Selection Sunday to all the hoops junkies out there.   Its like Christmas day at the USPS household.  Its also a sad day as well because it means its the beginning of the end for the college basketball season.   Thanks to everyone that has participated in the college basketball thread all year.  We have had some great nights following this great sport in there.   My time to do deep dives into bracketology have taken a back seat to my own kids sporting events and school activities however i still love to do it with the limited time i now spend on it.   You have to spend an incredible amount of time on this hobby to really get good at making a full bracket.  Its just not about selection of the teams its about properly seeding and projecting the regions teams will end up in using the committee bracketing principles and geography principles.   I am only going to project the teams and not worry about the others

1 seed- Auburn, Duke, Houston, Florida

Auburn has had the overall seed wrapped up for awhile now 16 Q1 wins is insane.   Duke played in a down ACC and didnt get the opportunities.  Florida should be higher but think the will end up the 4th 1 seed

2.  Tennessee, Bama, Sparty, St Johns

SEC having 4 teams in the top is crazy   you could flip flop Bama and Tennessee if you want

3. Texas Tech, A&M, Kentucky, Iowa St

First year head coach has Kentucky in position for a 3 seed in year 1 despite injuries  props to him

4    Wisky, Zona, Maryland, Michigan   B1G teams are going to give bracketologist fits trying to deal with the bracketing principles within the conference teams being this close on the seed list

5 Purdue, Oregon, Ole Miss, Clemson

6 Missouri, BYU, Louisville, UCLA

what Kelsey done in year 1 is impressive   Turnaround can happen with the right hire

7 Illinois, St Marys, Marquette, Zags

8 Kansas, Miss st, Memphis, Creighton

9 Uconn, New Mexico, Utah St, Georgia

10 Drake, Arkansas, Oklahoma, West Virginia

11 Baylor,  (San Diego St, IU)(Vandy, Xavier) UC SAN DIEGO

Vandy non con sos is 330  i hope they put them in the First 4

12. , VCU, COLORADO ST, McNEESE ST, Liberty

13 ,High Point, Akron, Yale, Troy

14  Lipscomb, Grand Canyon, UNCW, Wofford

15 Montana, Omaha, Robert Morris, Bryant

16  Norfolk St, SIU Edwardsville, (American    ,Mt St Marys  ,Alabama St , St Francis)

if Memphis loses take Xavier out

First 3 out

Texas

Boise st

UNC

i might change some things if i have time but this is how i see it going today but wont be surprised at any of the 3 first out being selected     Enjoy the games and selection sunday

Was a good few days in the USPS liar. See ya in a few days.

This line and the subsequent weekend matchups is going to be nuts. Almost every team on here is either immensely talented, has a top-tier coach or both.

Question:  If BYU were to an 8 seed some year, does that mean that they could get bumped up to a 7 to accomadate them playing on Thursday/Saturday?  Would seem to be an advantage because they'd be playing 10/2 instead of 9/1.  Pretty nice advantage to get a 2 instead of a 1.

Yes. After the committee follows the bracketing guidelines and the only way to get them out of the Friday Sunday that could happen.   They could also drop a seed line to accommodate it.
