Rust, jitters, etc. Definitely underwhelmed but I finally have confidence in the coordinators we have on staff to make sure miscues are corrected. Impressed with Penix poise. Gahoosierfan Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 I see plenty to criticize. Not much to praise. Cons: No running game other than Penix. This will doom them in 7 out of the next 11 games. Incredibly poor tackling. The O line doesn't block well at all. Very, very poor third-down defense all day long. Poor zone coverage on the passing game. Receivers drop way too many. Deboer went way too conservative way too soon and it really cost them. I could go on. Pros: Penix can run. Hendershot is a player. Justus is great. VPC and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
