I would assume the staffs know by now and slater logged that very shortly after the article was released on his decision being made. Why wouldn’t he wait until decision day then? Idk, that’s my thought process. He’s also very accurate with his picks so getting one wrong is the outlier usually. I’d love for him to be at IU but the hints are adding up its Marquette

I would think Wojo would have connections with Marquette insiders as well.....but I haven't seen any of them pick Marquette yet.

Honestly, I think it's just a case at best Andrew Slater might have just a peripheral conversation and Wojo said he 'felt good' which he'd say either way.  It's really not in a coach's best interest to leak what they really feel about a player.....if they express optimism, then fans get upset if they don't sign.  Express pessimism and fans get upset and the player in question may feel unwelcome.

I'm sure that Archie felt very good about Geronimo signing but never leaked any of that info.

I don’t see Slater having any real connection to the recruitment. If the Marquette/indiana ‘insiders’ start picking Marquette, I might finally hang my head, but until then, I’m sticking with my original prediction.

Marquette bound. His comments give it away. Marquette is more than likely offering him “day 1 starter, you’ll get most of the touches because our roster is horrible” type of role.

I listened to the Show tonight with Don and Damezi was the guest. Archie talked briefly about the 3 signees and said they were not done yet. Now I closed my eyes on the couch and fell asleep so I hope i heard correctly, could mean anything though as recruitment goes.

Well TOS has maintained Garcia has favored Indiana this whole time (90% confidence level to IU) however now says he's hearing Marquette.

Woj has pitched more touches at Marquette than IU and it's working.  Sounds like he may want to be Marcus Howard rather than play on a good team.

Not for our fans lack of effort. Lol. If anything we were overbearing. Regardless, Archie has to win these, our fan base showed out for this kid.

If it’s a fit, it’s a fit. For whatever reason, it seems this one wasn’t.

This one stings a bit for me. 6’11” with a skill set isn’t a dime a dozen.

At least this happened in the fall, so it gives us plenty of time to target someone else for spring  who will undoubtedly include us in his final 3 and pick some other sh1tty school over us.
