Rico Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 I wish I could say this is a "trap game" for Sparty, but I can't. Quote
chicagoHOOSIER Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 2013-14 was the last time they won the game before they played IU. They beat Illinois at the Breslin that year, and Illinois wasn't very good relatively speaking. They practice for us at the expense of the game before us. They take a mulligan the game before IU. Remember what they did to us last year we played them at the Breslin one game after they lost one? Quote

HoosierAloha Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Who do we have that even think about slowing down Winston. He’s the best pg and player in the conference. Ward will bully his way down low to 20+ points while knocking over several players for and ones. Who is going to close out to shooters, let alone give effort to get out to them. MSU will turn it over but we won’t capitalize on fast break chances. MSU is strong in every area we are weak. They’ll dominate us on the glass better than Maryland did, they’ll turn us over and score in transition more than Illinois and Nebraska did, and they’ll drain 3 after 3 like Northwestern and pu did. The entire time they’re doing that most of our players will sit there and take it in stride like they’d rather be home playing some Fortnite. I predict only a player or two will be upset with the beat down we are receiving. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners thebigweave 1 Quote
IUrocker Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 We probably end up miraculously playing well, but refs won’t make Izzo lose on College Gameday.....part of me is joking, but then again... HoosierAlex 1 Quote
Bobman1 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 This is the type of energy that we’re lacking when getting beat up: Michigan was getting dominated by Florida and obviously didn’t come back but at least the players clearly are ashamed to be embarrassed on national television.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Mostly with the rebounding part. Gonna get murdered on the glass. Someone has to be a bully and risk getting loose ball fouls. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Deserthoozier 1 Quote

woodenshoemanHoosierfan Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Recording the game to watch later. I'm heading to Benton to watch my number 3 in Class 2A Teutopolis Wooden Shoes play the number 1 2A ranked team, the Nashville Hornets. Go Hoosiers! HoosierTrav Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 I care about outcome so I can’t say otherwise. But with Josh Langford out they are going inside all night. We have to have a plan to help Juwan Morgan out for 40 minutes. Not 12. Not 25. I am with you there. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appWe HAVE to get meaningful minutes (and fouls)from Clif and Jake, otherwise Morgan will be sitting the entire 1st half. Not sure why but I have a feeling that we play well. Don’t think we’ll get the W but I have a feeling this will be a game. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
johnsoniu Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 I hope Archie finally snaps and gets tossed. A sign of a pulse would be refreshing. He has to have reached the boiling point by now.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ellen.walden, MikeRoberts, HoosierAloha and 2 others 5 Quote

RatpigHoosier Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 What if....just what if....we’ve been playing the way we have just to set up Sparty for this game? They come in totally unsuspecting and we drop 96 on em. Maybe Archie thinks that the six straight losses won’t hurt our tournament chances as much as puttin’ a whoopin’ on MSU will help is? It could happen...Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

I mean, getting tossed doesn't really help anything. I would have liked to have seen him get tossed when Michigan threw the ball out of bounds and got it back or when 1 of the other many terrible calls were made. It continues to baffle me refs not only continue to get games but to get the primetime games in conference. johnsoniu 1 Quote

IUHoosier5 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 We win 130-22. IU goes on to not lose another game. We hang banner 6. Romeo gets a statue built outside of AH. Oh, and Devonte Green has 70 points.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ellen.walden and HoosierAlex 2 Quote
