What about McRoberts?

Archie went into as about as much detail as he will today at his presser. He was Archie-style non-committal, but indicated that both were back at practice as non-contact participants over the weekend, and that both were expected to do more at practice today.

Said one or maybe both of them would be back in the rotation on Tuesday barring any setbacks.

I expect Al to start, with DeVonte, Fitz, and McBob as the first three off the bench.

speaking of Fitz, what has happened to him, did he peak early and have nothing left. he got me really excited that first game and he hasn't done squat since.

Mods, feel free to move/merge if needed, but seeing as everyone and their grandmother is injured, thought it might be helpful to start a thread specifically for injury updates.

With that being said, has anyone heard if Devonte or Mcbob will be ready to go Tuesday? Any update on De'Ron, Race or Jerome?

by the way, thanks for starting this, it was a great idea.

16 points on 6-7 shooting 4-4 from 3 against Marquette is squat now?

In 2 games since he has 0 points.

Okay but the person I quoted said he hadn’t done squat since our first game

Despite struggling like most of the team the last 3 games he’s still shooting 58 % for the year. He was never gonna sustain the 14-17 pace but he’s not going to maintain the 0-7 pace either.

He’s shot the ball 7 times the last 3 games that plus his 2 turnovers he’s only using 3 possessions per game. Is that good to get 0 points from of course not but it’s not horrid.

I don't remember anyone saying "horrid"

IMO Fitz has had to play a different role on this team due to injuries.  He is not a post player.  He is 3-point specialist that can kill teams on any given night.  When you are taken out of that role, it can really throw a wrench in that playing style.  We had all players in and firing on all cylinders that night against Marquette and look at the result.  We get McBob, Davis, Smith, and Morgan playing a solid rotation again, you take the pressure off of Fitz and let him go to work on the outside.

He wasn't the only way playing a different role, or playing more minutes than normal.
That's why, although I haven't been happy with the 3 games, I'm not pushing the panic button or dwelling on those games afterwards. If it contacted everyone gets back healthy, I will start to wonder about this team.

I think the whole team (sans Juwan and Romeo) lost a little of its swagger/confidence after that Arkansas loss. We are playing with fear and uncertainty since that game versus playing with confidence. Passing up open shots, etc.
