Popular Post Beachfront Property Posted November 27, 2018 Popular Post Posted November 27, 2018 How different do the last three games look if we replace Damezi with McRoberts? Not looking to rip Damezi (he is a freshman!) but there is no question we would be entering this game undefeated and ranked in the top 20. We also would’ve won the last two games handily and would be feeling much better about ourselves. i am trying to find reasons for optimism. Hoosiers96, Bobman1, southsidehoosier and 9 others 12 Quote
IUc2016 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I don't expect a win tonight but I hope it is competitive. I also hope that Romeo shows out. I hope he goes for 20+ and outplays Duke's big three. I could definitely live with that. NRT137, thebigweave, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 4 Quote

Popular Post IUrocker Posted November 27, 2018 Popular Post Posted November 27, 2018 My off the top of my head keys for IU: 1. Juwan and Romeo take it to their next level on a big time stage. 2. Rob plays cool and collected. 3. McRoberts and Green are back 4. Justin Smith found his big boy pants under his bed. ellen.walden, WayneFleekHoosier, Crimson and Cream and 10 others 13 Quote

You have to start Smith on Zion, right? Archie made a mistake starting Juwan on Gafford and he had 2 fouls 90 seconds into the game. BGVille Hoosierfan, ALASKA HOOSIER, HoosierX and 1 other 4 Quote

I don't think Smith is near physical enough to try to guard Zion, but I'm not sure there is a better option. To be fair, his combination of size and quickness is a tough matchup for anyone in the country. Quote

To be fair, his combination of size and quickness is a tough matchup for anyone in the country. IU doesn't have anybody that is physical enough if Zion catches the ball on the block. The key is to try and keep him off the block and limit quick threes and TO's so he can't cherry pick the whole game which is how he gets most of his points. If Smith makes him dribble in the half court and settle for jump shots he should be just fine but Morgan can't be on him to start the game imo like was mentioned above but I'm not sure that Morgan won't get in foul trouble guarding Bolden either as he has been much better for Duke this year. Capt. Crimson Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I feel like I have to ask.... With our recent struggles against smaller opponents is it possible that: 1. There's less available film of those opponents and it's harder to prepare for or 2. We were putting more energy in preparing for Duke and these last two were moreso 'go out and do your thing' ....I'm hoping it's case #2. Go Hoosiers! Hutch89 1 Quote

Yeah, but also no referee compromises their impartiality as freely to hold on to long time petty grudges based on nonsense. The BIG dropped TV! No way he allows a BIG team to win. Smart money against MSU + a tech from Izzo. Teddy knows who feeds him! Quote

The new ranking system only goes to 10. So a 50 point loss is the same as a 10 point loss. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners I think my expectations really depend on who plays, if green and mcroberts are healthy I'd still be very dissatisfied with a blow out Quote
