At least Texas & San Diego State are holding their players out while this is being investigated. Something I don’t think MSU will do with Bridges. Time for Izzo to go.

I generally agree with your overall view on the cesspool that is college recruiting. 

But I've always had a hard time reconciling Troy getting something extra with the rantings on the board from his mother. If he was, there is no way she wouldn't have let something slip in her unhinged ramblings. Maybe they kept her in the dark though, wouldn't have been hard to do.

I’m more concerned with the Big brother black eye on the family. Our coach was on Sean’s staff     Some seasons ago. It looks bad and I don’t like it!

To be fair I don’t think anyone thought he was 100% clean. But pretty clean in the current standards. His secondary for Gary Harris gave that away.

I still think that IU's involvement in all of this is minimal at best given who was our coach then and the circumstances under which he took the job, but if there is anything, just tell the NCAA to F off. The FBI is about arresting dirty coaches, agents, and the middlemen, not postseason bans and scholarship reductions. Unless something big happens involving us, we're on the low end of the totem poll...if there at all.

Why?

For all we know as of right now, he could have known about the Dawkins/Martin contact and told Martin to tell him to go pound sand.  Which may have ultimately saved us big time.

Yeah, luckily we didn’t get the wrong player at the wrong time. The coach isn’t here to answer to the NCAA if they had questions. He is looking at all of this thinking if he comes out clean he has a job next year at a big school. Will laugh if he ends up at Zona or something like that.

I'm just trying to think of our current coaching staff and if they could potentially get caught up in this.

Archie Miller was on Sean's staff at one time.  Not gonna lie, that makes me nervous.

Ed Schilling was a pretty good recruiter at UCLA, they got some talent the years he was there.
