Stuhoo Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 There has been no information about how the meeting went. I assume it went OK.It was practically apocalyptic!Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Stromboli, ALASKA HOOSIER and GloryDays 3 Quote
HinnyHoosier Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Maybe they are giving the kid a day or two to process things. I wouldn't worry about it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

schoosier Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 If he can develop like his dad at Clemson, he could be the rebounder and defensive big we desperately need. I called it on Damezi, I think TDJ is the first to pop for IU in his class. CR3AMnCR1MS0N, thebigweave, MemphisHoosier and 2 others 5 Quote

He is much more of a scorer. Dalton26 1 Quote

But in the NBA he was much more of a defensive, rebounding, tough D type guy. Sent from my SM-G950U using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

Or strictly at post player as of now? My buddy- This year we brought him outside a lot more.. he is great catching the ball at the top of the floor or pinch post and attaching the rim. He also would bring the ball up some for us. He is great with his back to the basket though. Which is where a lot of his work is done. He has a mid range, but he loves getting to the rim. Does he play on the perimeter at all in high school? Not yet. I watched him all year and only thing he shot was layups, dunks and around the basket. Free throws were only shot outside of the paint I saw him shoot. I look for him to work on outside shot going into senior year. He handled hit some out on perimeter but not enough to call it a strength Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app WayneFleekHoosier, CSP, Class of '66 Old Fart and 5 others 8 Quote

Bobman1 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Anyone else think it’d be better for TJD if he doesn’t reclass? Sounds like he plays a similar role to Juwan so he’s get more minutes in 2019-2020. Unless he can be a phenomenal player from day one/stay two years, I’d almost rather have him stay in his class. Hell I’d love to have him so I’m not nitpickingSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners GloryDays, Kepner and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote

Same thing, I’d gladly take him but I’m not sure if that’s what would be best for him. But I don’t really know for sure. We may be jumping the shark with this whole topic anyway.
