Hard to believe they are THAT close Quote

Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 6, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 6, 2019 (edited) From Center Grove Sports Network - CG’s Trayce Jackson-Davis leads the South All-Stars to a 154-135 win over the North All-Stars at Martinsville HS. TJD also won the ”Dunk Contest”. He won it by jumping over someone on his final dunk. TJD must have been impressive. Doyel's got an article coming per his tweet: The boys’ North/South all-star game started and I had no idea what I was writing. After five minutes of watching IU signee Trayce Jackson-Davis, I knew. Update: TJD had 32 pts. to lead all scorers. Edited April 6, 2019 by Class of '66 Old Fart TJD Point Total JaybobHoosier, HoosierAloha, IUsafety and 6 others 9 Quote

I say he as an 11pt 6rb average as a freshman and only gets better. If he develops a 3 point shot he will be gone in two years. Quote

RatpigHoosier Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Don’t misunderstand me, I’m stoked about TJD coming to IU, I just hope his calm demeanor isn’t Romeo-esque too much. There were times I wondered if that dude was a droid. Some real dunking power around the rim is sorely needed so I can’t wait to see how his presence translates to the B1G. Stoic demeanor and vicious dunks will be ok with me. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app I've said it on here I think TJD will have a Thomas Bryant like impact his first year. Not ready to be the top dog but good enough to be our 2nd/3rd best player. I think our three starting guards need to all average around 10 a game and one averaging 13-15ish. I say Green with 13-15ish with Phinisee and Durham around 10-11. I think a healthy Hunter can but I'm going to say anywhere from 6-8 for him. A lot of unknown. Justin Smith is also unknown. I'd be really surprised still if he is back. I just don't think he fits here. He seems like a good kid and a great student athlete. ALASKA HOOSIER, cchuntsman and ElectricBoogaloo 3 Quote

Doesn't mean I didn't want him though. All Star games aren't any thing but selfish exhibitions and I don't base any expectations of ability on them. Exactly, I think Damon missed a 3 to start the game and finished with 7, but I'm remembering and could be wrong. In any event, i wasn't looking for his McD'S performance to have anything to do with his IU career. GloryDays 1 Quote
