WayneFleekHoosier Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I would be absolutely shocked if Swanigan returns and would have a new found respect for the kid. If he goes, and I expect him to, he's making the right decision imo. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ebridges24 and IUsafety 2 Quote

Not saying he is going to jump into the top 5 but sounded like he was a guy that was going to go in the 20's.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Unless Swanigan hits a growth spurt he probably won't help his stock much by coming back. Quote

Opportunities for guys able to make bigger jumps than Swanigan out there. I don't ever see him going higher than about mid 20s and I personally wouldn't draft him first round. That's nothing against him. He's like Frank Kaminsky, a great college player that doesn't translate well to the pros. IUsafety 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Swanigan is a 1st rounder. Not even close from a projectable view point. While there will be players that surprise, they aren't the norm. I don't think either way he went would have been a bad decision based on where people are projecting. He decided to stay in the draft. Old Friend Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Maybe piped in music, bigger and bigger TV screens, fake tans, and the circus stuff that seemed to overtake IU the last decade-plus. Who cares? Purdue will always be Purdue. They're the little brother; they always will be, and he's never going to change it. When Purdue changes coaches, they get 15 minutes and everybody moves on. When you're expected to be middle of the pack, nobody cares. Yawn. Crimson and Cream, Doctor Jones, WayneFleekHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote
Popular Post TheWatShot Posted May 24, 2017 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2017 We won as many Big Ten titles as you did, son. And you made Purdue look sexy all right...until you played Kansas. And he's one to talk about "fabricated BS," considering Purdue was his third choice and his guardian more or less forced him to go there.
