Jordy is engaged to my wife's cousin. He has never said one negative thing about coach Crean other than he is very demanding and full of energy.

Maybe because anything else would have ended up right here for the rest of the world to read?

If you want to know how the graduated players felt about CTC, I take HUGE stock in their senior night speeches. For me, it was incredibly striking when they happened.

Will Sheehey (to paraphrase) stated plainly that he had the BEST FAMILY, played for the best FANS, TEAMMATES, and FOR THE BEST COACH.

Jordy Hulls

Matt Roth

Jeff Howard

Verdell Jones

Derek Elston

CWat

Danny Moore

and others

Specifically thanked: THE BEST FAMILIES, THE BEST FANS, AND THE BEST TEAMMATES.

You guys seriously think Hulls, Vic, Cody, Christian, etc. are putting up an act? LMAO

1)  I think that each and every one of the players you named are true Hoosiers, and are loyal, above all, to Indiana University.

2)  I think that they all think that CTC is a good man who did the best he could.

3)  I think that every one from that list would recommend IU to their best friend, sibling, etc.

AND...

I think that only one from that list (VO) would recommend CTC as a coach if/when CTC is not at IU.

Everything does not have to be questioned as if it's a cover-up.

I'm just saying that if he WAS going to talk smack about Crean, I'm not surprised that he wouldn't do so to his fiancée's cousin's husband who obviously doesn't have a problem posting what he hears on a free internet message board (not that I disapprove of that). This is why some of the best sources out there are those who choose to be anonymous.

What's wrong with posting something positive on here about what he told me?  It's one thing to do the opposite, but who are you to judge?  I don't believe anything I said would be disapproved by Jordan. It was a compliment to both of them.

I think TC is a stand up guy, he means well and seems like a great person.

BUT... I think he's 1) Not as good as a coach as some would say he is. 2) Not as bad as some of his critiques say he is. 3)NOT going to win a national championship...

To me this whole thing is a cop out for all IU supporters to say, well i think he's a good coach but if it weren't for all the other stuff off the court...he needs to go now... Let's be real here... we all know win's and losses are what drive the boat. If he was winning, none of this would be as big as an issue as it is currently.

Is anyone REALLY able to accept the subpar seasons we have had (minus the two tourney runs)...Does anyone really think he is going to win a NC at IU... if the answer to that last question is no, then where the IUBB program is at right now, he is not the answer... He's just not. I applaud him for bringing IU back from the dumpster fire that it was when he got here, but he has proven he isn't the answer.

The big thing is Fred Glass said, "we are Indiana, we don't go to the CBI" last year... oh but you are willing to accept several years of mediocre BB???!! and missing the tournament several years in a row?!?? THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

I am not a CTC supporter. But, you cannot fire him now. By all reports the players love him. You risk losing everything.

You expect players to be loyal to their coach, but if this is your concern then you may as well give him a lifetime contract.  And right after you give him the lifetime contract, check yourself into the nearest asylum.

We've gone down that road before the result was Mike Davis, let's not do it again.

Fans will be here longer than the players who supposedly love him.

What is this everything we would lose?
