There should be a little appreciate for Crean. He did try his best to get IU back but fell short. I thank Crean for his enthusiasm for IU basketball and doing his best.

The next hire has a big task at hand. The fans have spoken that B1G championships and missing the tourney are not acceptable. Win big or move on. I have a feeling we'll all be extremely happy with the new hire.

Basically there are expectations and the way coaches are compensated its expected and you need to roll with it if it happens. Said it sucks and Tom's a great guy and has won some championships.

I honestly got a little emotional (Happy emotional) when I read the news.... then ran around my workplace telling ever Hoosier fan and really telling the 1 UK guy that has been all over "Crean is gonna be there for 10 more years" guy.... So much happiness

Dakich just said that he is sure Billy Donovan will want the IU job. He also said that he will probably get a call from Donovan within the  next day or so.

From an article in the Indy Star today, Brad says he has no interest in returning to the college game and he loves being an NBA coach.  That might change, but I'd guess we may never see him coach "amateurs" again.

Disagree about Alford or Fife. Donovan knows what he would be capable doing at IU.
