Chris Beard beat Baylor tonight after a moving screen called away from beating Kansas in 4 day span. He is gonna get them in the tourney which at Texas Tech is like IU winning a title. That guy can coach and I wouldn't be surprised if our job opens up he doesn't at least get a call. Surely won't get it, but he is one of the up and comers.

Just caught up on the thread, god i love this message board. 

 

I was thinking, when Crean gets fired in a couple months, we're all going to get together and have a BBQ correct? I mean it's only right, I'll bring a case of whatever.

This is the tip of the iceberg. It had been bad before but this is the worst season imo. The Syracuse debacle season still enrages me because that team should've done so much more. That's when I saw through his crap. He should've been fired after either the 13-14 or 14-15 seasons. He wasn't and now we are where we are. But the third time will be the charm. Have faith my man

I know it's his alma mater, but I think it'd be a bad decision to go there. You're like 5th fiddle in the ACC at best. He could hand pick basically any open job he wants in the country, it would be tough for that to be the one.

Archie is probably off our list. I know that IU is the better job but loyalty plays a part. He isn't coaching Dayton still if he cared about better job. That is why I like him so much. He is a goner to NC State IMO. They have the money to pay him just a little below what we could.

That year we should of made a deep tourney run! No excuses. We lost to a Syracuse team that we we better then (in my opinion). I hope this is it because it's getting hard to watch. Crean MUST GO.

The excuse train was in full force on Creans show tonight. Talking about how season would be different with Hartman, talk about the how different the numbers were with OG as compared to w/o OG, Newkirk's knee injury, Morgan and James still not 100%, etc, etc. Then talks about leadership on his FF Marquette team. Had to make sure to remind everyone about his FF appearance. Excuses, excuses, excuses! I can stand to listen to this fool speak anymore. Please Glass end this debacle!

Nah the best team won that year. Every year a team that is top 30 on both Adjusted Offense and Defense wins. Both us and Louisville were the only team that could say that. They were hot. We were lucky we didn't lose before Syracuse. We played so bad those last couple of weeks.

They did play bad but there was no excuse why that team didn't win. Yeah they should have lost to Temple though. IU was clearly the best team and then they went downhill towards the end of the season. A trend that we know far too well with Crean
