Seems to me that most of his backers over the past 3-4 years have been 20-35 yo's that say we have had better times recently then we've had in recent history. Don't believe we can do any better and don't view us as a blueblood program.

Who have you been talking to? I'm in the demographic, most of the fans I talk to are in that demographic, most turned on him the year after the Vonleh year.

I know a few of those. They became fans when they started school here and don't really know IU's history. We're just another "good" program in their minds so for them Crean's tenure has been just fine.

Absolutely correct. Knowing the history of IU basketball, no one can be satisfied with Crean's results

Hopefully we play wisky at the kohl center next year to see if Bennett can get IU a win in Madison so I can at least get a chance to see a road win there while I'm still in my 30's. Next year will me last chance of that

I have been against Crean since the year we lost to Syracuse even before that game I seen his issues at gameplanning, changes, subs, and everything else. I am in the middle of that drmographic.

I'm in that age range and I would've fired him a couple years ago.  If by some miracle he survived past that, he would be fired the very instant the last game ended this year.

I think most were still fine because we didn't know how bad the movement actually was outside of Yogi. We had Vonleh coming in....... Then the Vonleh year happened, and the year after was just bad with mostly the same stuff. That coupled with the Cuse game turned so many, really from fans from every demographic probably turned around the same time

I'm seeing a lot of "IU played tough, they exceeded expectations, I'm proud of their fight, great effort" on Twitter right now. They did a lot better than we expected, but I'm not really one for moral victories. Even with OG and JBJ out we have enough talent that we shouldn't be shocked when we hang with quality teams on the road. I just hate that we're at the "we fought hard" stage as a program.

I've wanted him gone since the Syracuse debacle. That game showed me that he can't win when it matters

Yeah right man. I'm 22 and have hated him since I was 18. Wanted him gone since the Syracuse debacle

It took longer than that for me, but his planning for that game was Doug-Mallory-defensive-coordinator level of incompetent.  He couldn't possibly have done a worse job of preparing the team for that zone; he reached a special level of absolutely clueless.

If I wasn't rooting for Indiana to win I would've been impressed by the level of horrendous he was on.

Those are the causal IU basketball fans. The Die Hards are here. I hate to say it but I don't think the casual fans follow much else IUBB wise than the actual games themselves.

And yes I know someone will take this post the wrong way

That shows how far expectations have fallen under crean.

That's ridiculous. I'm getting tired of that crap. It's more excuses for Crean. I'm never for moral victories. This crap has to end. I'm getting tired of the Crean Era. Really f@ckin tired of it
