WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 I know a few of those. They became fans when they started school here and don't really know IU's history. We're just another "good" program in their minds so for them Crean's tenure has been just fine. Exactly. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote

BtownBanner6 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 You have Crean supporters everywhere. My old man is 55 and I can't stand to talk to him about Crean, he just keeps bringing up last years conference championship like that gives Crean a pass it's frustrating as can be. If by some miracle he survived past that, he would be fired the very instant the last game ended this year. Quote

Then the Vonleh year happened, and the year after was just bad with mostly the same stuff. That coupled with the Cuse game turned so many, really from fans from every demographic probably turned around the same time Quote

They did a lot better than we expected, but I'm not really one for moral victories. Even with OG and JBJ out we have enough talent that we shouldn't be shocked when we hang with quality teams on the road. I just hate that we're at the "we fought hard" stage as a program. thebigweave 1 Quote

Wanted him gone since the Syracuse debacle It took longer than that for me, but his planning for that game was Doug-Mallory-defensive-coordinator level of incompetent. He couldn't possibly have done a worse job of preparing the team for that zone; he reached a special level of absolutely clueless. If I wasn't rooting for Indiana to win I would've been impressed by the level of horrendous he was on. Quote
