Crean strikes again!

Minny goes on a 13-3 run to take a halftime lead. When would be a good time to stop the run with a timeout?! When it's over and only seconds left in the half. Brilliant!!

This team operates better with Green in the game. Yes, he's a frosh and will make mistakes. If he would have had more run in the noncon cupcake feasting he would be even better.

We miss threes but keep chucking them up! Makes complete sense when you have two bigs in the game. Why go into the post and punish them anyway?!

Maybe call a timeout and yank everyone when you turn it over 30+% of your possessions. No, just play faster. Brilliant!

We have a coach that has no feel of the game and it shows over and over.

Why not throw gelon in for a few minutes. Could he really do any worse? He knocked down two threes in his one garbage appearance. Priller never did that.

Iowa 2013 lost 6 of last 7 heading into the tournament

Same year IU lost 9 of last 14 games heading into the tournament.
Look I'm not saying they will turn it around but I have seen teams struggle and for whatever reason make a little run.

If we make a run this year it's because the team got diarrhea!

Our lack of fundamentals is staggering.  Morgan's missed box out cost us the game, and I wasn't even surprised.  He didn't even TRY to get a body on anyone.   Of course, we had more TO's than assists.  Again.  Same result.  When will this brain dead buffoon learn?

Never

Lol well I finally mustered the courage to NOT watch a game. I'm kinda done with this program until Crean is gone. Might watch a few here and there. Popped in here to see what happens and looms like the same game thread of all season long! Haha.

Top 7 will make NCAA. Including Michigan State. Wow. Izzo actually is overcoming obstacles with a injured and not so good team.

I'm actually only 2 hours away from DC. Was really excited about going to the Big Ten Tournament...not sure if it's worth the drive up there now...

Can't even get people to show up for Michigan at home on CBS (ON A SUNDAY NO LESS!). The general fan base is finally seeing that we need to make a change.

Interesting I thought anyway that Don Fischer could not get Crean from going in and on about how hard the team is working to get a win on and on hard work, etc, etc. He finally had to interrupt Crean and say thanks coach.:)

Likewise, Crean's post game pressed was funny to watch. He wants so badly to lay this on injuries, and keeps hinting at that while saying it's not an excuse.

Does anyone think he snaps at some point and just goes off? The dude has to be sitting on an emotional powder keg.

Also, Fisch was on with Dakich earlier in the week … and he appeared to agree with DD's take on the situation. I wonder how much of that was genuine and how much was PC playing along. I mean, Fisch has seen it all, as they say, and he has to have a pretty good feel for the situation, doesn't he?

I think there's a really good chance he snaps if we lose a couple more in a row. I was dyingggg of laughter when he was going crazy at the end of the first half.

Don's pretty smart & professional.  He's always put on a loyal face in defending coaches, even when they may not have deserved it.  I wonder if the frequent delays and "stand ups" he's had with Crean post games has been offensive to him?  Possibly not, after all he took a lot of abuse from Knight (albeit less than poor Chuck Marlowe, RIP).

After a performance like last night, Knight would have sent an assistant coach to do the post game!
