Solid. NFL level. Not noteworthy like Ponds’ measurables.

Somebody on the broadcast talked about Ponds staying on the outside and pulled a Jason Verrett comp. That’s a hell of a pull. They’re basically the same guy and Verrett was tremendous until the injuries hit.

Seems like his measurables may have moved into the top two or three rounds.

And I’m sure he’s interviewed really well and they’re gonna watch his film and he doesn’t back down from anyone ever and he never takes a single play off. Players don’t get more winning than that kid. Firmly established as my favorite IUFB player.

There’s a big difference between “best” and “favorite.”

Ponds and Mendoza are the best.
Fisher and Kaelon are maybe my two favorite players I’ve ever seen in an IU uniform.

So many kids that it’s been so much fun to root for. Sarratt coming from nowhere. Roarke playing through the knee. There’s a million of them. It continues to be kind of incomprehensible what’s gone on here.

For being pegged as a strong-bodied YAC guy in the league, his 2nd run of 4.43 is absolutely noteworthy. If he doesn’t go in the 1st round I’ll be pretty surprised at this point.

Looks like 4.48 is average. A 4.43 for a guy that blocks like a demon is getting notable.

I would have been surprised two weeks ago if Ponds fell out of the second round. He’s been consistently mocked in the top 50 picks…think it’s only going to go up. (I admit I’m a homer)

Not a homer take. He’s firmly a top-50 guy. When he runs 4.3 (or dare I say better) in April that might go even higher.

Coop is showing out for sure. The only thing that MAYBE keeps him out of round 1 is the insane depth of talent at WR this year. I could see as many as 6 WR in round 1 (probably unlikely, but certainly possible).
