Respect..I'm sorry but that's bs. Weren't we all taught to play until the final whistle? If you don't wanna get scored on at the end of the game then play defense and don't turn the ball over. Doesn't matter if you're up 20 or down 20.

 How about showing that much anger when your starters are throwing the ball away 15x a game or not playing decent defense. Those bench boys practice just as hard all week as the starters. Really! You haven't shown that emotion all season especially when we been putting losses on the board as of late.

Who taught you how to play any sport lol? In football if the game is outta hand and the team that is up has the ball....the take a knee to run the clock out, in basketball if your up by double digits and you have the ball for the last shot clock time you hold it until the buzzer sounds, baseball is the only sport they dont really do anything and thats because it's almost impossible to do it with no clock. It is an unwritten rule has been for a very long time. I don't agree with Crean yelling at DG like that, but shakes off losses to Nebraska at home and IPFW like it is nothing. Behind closed doors he may have but if he had we would have a more disciplined team than we do. He can't pick and choose when to be a coach. I don't agree with it knowing this team, but an outside observer would probably think that Crean was right.

I'm in the camp that says you handle the DG situation privately. He embarrassed Green far more than Green embarrassed Rutgers. Not condoning Green doing what he did but there are better ways to teach him not to do that.

Because of Crean ripping him?? If that gets to him then better off he's gone. I'd like a tougher player in that case.
Now if Crean limits his playing time over that, then that would bother me.

I'm more upset at how it was handled.  CTC could have apologized to the Rutgers coach but waited until the locker room to light into Green.  Far less humiliating than being ripped in public and the message still gets across.

I've been worried about that for a while actually.  I hope it doesn't happen because the kid is going to be a player, but as the season goes on it seems more and more likely. The end of today's game definitely doesn't help.

This, and I think it's even moreso the fact that that's the most fired up he's been all season. Not for terrible calls, not for Bryant whining all the time, not for Blackmon losing his man every other possession, but for Devonte trying to get a guy who never plays a dunk. L O freaking L.

Lesson learned: You can make yourself look bad, but don't make Coach(the boss) look bad. Like every business/organization I've ever been a part of.
