    (2025)- Trent Sisley to INDIANA

For a “one and done” out of state dude JHS seems very connected/appreciative to IU. Good to see.

Purdue qb Card is 0-3 with no tds to his own receivers, one completion for a td on an Oregon St pick six. 7-0 Or St. Good lord I am going to enjoy us stomping the ugly out of Purdud this year. And Cig is just the coach to keep running up the score when we’re up 50.

I get what you're saying but when I went to IU and the team was mediocre I went to all the games and that was when the team was also borrrrring. This team is exciting regardless of the competition and should be competitive in every game. Very rarely if ever has IUFB put up this many points and give up this few to start a season. I understand to get "fans" you need to be consistent for a longer period of time, but the students should jump on the bandwagon as soon as possible. There should be A LOT of students in the stadium in each game going forward.

That is really refreshing to see that coming to IU was more than just a small step on his way to the NBA and he never intended to look back.

(2025) - PF Eric Reibe to UConn

Reibe with the opportunity to add to the long and storied history of German centers at IU.

I agree with the above quote. But for IU that means, in my opinion, winning SEASONS and not simply four games against some seemingly weak teams. To change the IU culture or the way people think, you need multiple winning seasons and some bowl games as well. We’re off to a good/great start, but I don’t expect sellout crowds after four games. We all know that we’ve had decades of miserable football and that’s why people leave at half or don’t show up at all. Get some consistent winning and then people will react differently. JMHO.

Ahh, 4-0 coffee tastes sooo good this morning. And by coffee, I mean a Folgers K-cup from the Keurig because I’m a down to earth guy like Coach Cigs. Not some fancy pressed crap made with a bean thats been covered in insect excrement like Stuhoo and Hoosierhoopster drink

Probably yah too early. He is turning me into a believer. I know our schedule has been soft, but what we have done so far is exactly what we weren't doing under Allen w/o DeBoer and Wommack

Probably true, but none of us are in the locker room. Changing decades of fan apathy is not something he can do in four games. Apathy may not even be the right word. We get pretty good attendance. The crowd thing is more like muscle memory; people have simply become used to leaving at half time. I believe it is up the athletic department to work on changing the habit. I was thinking about this last night and I dreamed that the Athletic Department started a giveaway to students, and would pay a semester’s tuition if you were in your seat the middle of the 4th quarter and your seat number was drawn. I can’t wait to be back in Southern Indiana so I can go to the games.

Meanwhile, Jeff Brohm is 13-4 since he got to Louisville and has them ranked #19. Looks like Brady Allen made the right choice.

We’ll sh!t… winning has happened overnight!

Fans will start to show up. It just takes winning, and it doesn't happen overnight.

Agreed. Embarrassing show by the fans. This team deserves much more support. Pack the rock next week! No excuses!

Well it looks like Coach lit a fire under the Defense during half time.

Ahhhm… another item to be filed under “no coincidence:” Victor Oladipo being honored on the football game field. We are bringing every all-time great SG in IU history to meet with Mullins this weekend. Waiting for Eric Gordon, AJ Guton, Greg Graham, and Van Arsdale sightings!

This year has the potential to be an all time favorite roster. If woody can get them playing fast. Smarter. And locked the F in on defense. Mgbako can flat shoot it. I like Gallo when not shooting 3s. Love Ballo and Reneau. Pretty sure I’m gonna love Rice. Goode and Tucker off the bench? It’s gotta be good, right. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

    2024 IUFB Season

My fear was spending the coin only to witness an at-Iowa debacle (our opener a few years ago in which we were out of the game in the first quarter). The big win certainly made the game and night in Pasadena a lot more fun as the IU fans were really pumped/joyous. We are a fan base desperate for a good team and I think this is going to be a great year. On a side note, If I was the BT commissioner I would declare UCLA and IU natural rivals so I could go back every other year….LOL. Rose Bowl or West Laffy…hmmm.
