My guess.

Duke
Oregon
Villanova
UNC and
Maybe Kentucky stay ahead of us.

So 5-6. Could be a stubborn crowd. Then 7.

Pretty good assessment.  So the question is - do we root for Purdue to beat Villanova on Tuesday so we can leap-frog them too after next week's rankings?

I probably won't be able to bring myself to do that.

Noticed the Purdue game is Monday at 7:00 on BTN.  Looking forward to seeing if Swanigan took a sophomore jump.  This should be a good game to watch.  I think the B1G is going to be a meat grinder this year.  Oh, I will never root for Purdue regardless.

Thanks for that, thought it was Tuesday.

Based on their last game I'd say Swanigan is off to a good start; he had 23 and 20 in a game against some cupcake.  He'll be quite a force this year, that's for sure.

Seth 'D-Bag' Davis has us at 5. He's an AP voter.

I forgot about Seth's rankings! One of the more enjoyable things all week was reading his rankings and his unpredictable responses to randoms tweeting at him. Man isn't it nice that CBB is back.

You can always count on Seth for a well timed 'shave your knuckles' retort!

Agree on not knowing. I could see us leaping KU (obvious), X (barely beat Lehigh), and MSU (lost). We should jump Arizona (similar rank we had better win). That would put us at 7/8. The Armed Forces Classic was a big event and had lots of coverage. Reading the articles about the win I could see us jumping into the top 5.
